Biographical Data
Andrew Chambers is a real estate consultant and appraiser with Lewis Realty Advisors in Houston, Texas. Mr. Chambers is a third generation Houstonian, where he attended The Kinkaid School. He continued his education at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, where he received a B.B.A in finance and real estate.
Employment
While an undergraduate student at Ole Miss, Mr. Chambers worked for several real estate developers specializing in single-family residential homes and multi-family developments. He also worked for Davis Chambers and Company, a financial services consulting firm, where he assisted with business valuations.
Scope of Professional Assignments
Mr. Chambers has completed appraisal assignments on both improved and unimproved real property throughout Texas and Louisiana. Mr. Chambers’ assignments have included analysis of sales, cost, and income for commercial, residential, and industrial properties. Mr. Chambers has valued properties for numerous purposes, including litigation, condemnation, and estate tax planning. He has valued large portfolios for estate planning and ad valorem tax litigation. Specific assignments include performing absorption and discounted cash flow analyses of single-family residential developments, as well as large commercial portfolios.
